Art can be very beneficial to children with autism as it fosters self-expression & confidence. Creating art helps improve fine motor skills, coordination, and precision. It also offers a sensory-rich experience, with various textures, colors, & materials, which can accommodate the diverse sensory needs often associated with autism.
