    FAST has partnered with Recoil Trampoline Park to offer sensory friendly Family Jump Nights periodically through the year! During these special private events for our families, doors are closed to the public and there are smaller crowds, softer music, and MORE FUN!

    FAST sponsors the full price of admission for a limited number of current FAST members. Siblings/parents can jump as well for a reduced admission group rate (paid to FAST). All admissions include unlimited jump time during the hours of the event plus a FREE pair of Recoil socks (required to jump).

    *Spectators are always free at Recoil. Laser Tag & Virtual Reality not included. Please make sure to complete an online waiver with Recoil for everyone who plans to jump in your family.​

  • Christmas Lights at Camp Rock

    We are thrilled to announce that Camp Rock will be sponsoring another amazing Christmas event again for us this year! Children with autism & their immediate family members are invited to join us Sunday, December 1, 2024 from 6-9 PM for an evening of fun at Camp Rock's Christmas Lights: FAST & DSASG Night! Registration is REQUIRED to attend this event as Camp Rock will be closed to the public for our families.

  • Art Class

    Little Leaf Art Studio 101 S. Webb St, Hahira, GA

    Art can be very beneficial to children with autism as it fosters self-expression & confidence. Creating art helps improve fine motor skills, coordination, and precision. It also offers a sensory-rich experience, with various textures, colors, & materials, which can accommodate the diverse sensory needs often associated with autism. FAST has teamed up with Little Leaf Art Studio (Autumn Orozco) to offer art classes to children on the spectrum again in 2024! These classes aim to provide a unique opportunity to improve to explore & communicate emotions in a non-verbal way.

    Our Music Therapy will now be led by Shanice Richards from Healing Hearts Music Therapy! Based on her schedule & travel from Tallahassee, FL to serve us, sessions will be on Thursday afternoons at this time. Session times vary between 3:30 - 6:15 PM. Pre-Registration is required (Link Provided Below). Space is very limited so please only sign up if you plan to attend! Location info & your child's time will be sent via email closer to date.

    In a world that expects social connection, FAST' new SPARK Groups aim to help teens & young adults on the autism spectrum gain confidence and build friendships, all while preparing for real-life success. From navigating peer groups to handling interviews or dating, SPARK is your place to grow!

    These meetings, led by Emilee Betts, M. Ed., CF-SLP, will offer a safe, supportive space to build real-world social and communication skills. Whether it’s navigating group conversations, managing emotions, or preparing for work/college environments, SPARK groups help empower individuals on the autism spectrum to connect with confidence. Topics and speaking points will vary for each meeting, ranging from everyday hang outs to preparing for adult responsibilities.

    Caregiver Connect is a welcoming space where parents and caregivers can come together for a relaxing hour of crafting, activities, and community. Whether you want to participate or simply enjoy the company, this is a judgment-free space. Share stories if you’d like, or just unwind and connect. Childcare is not provided, but the focus is on self-care and building connections. We invite all caregivers of individuals with autism (of any age) to join us!

  • FAST Monthly Meeting

    FAST meets on Saturday of most months (typically the 2nd Saturday) to hold an informative meeting for caregivers or an entertaining event for our children. We'll be kicking off this school year with two informative sessions with our own local school advocate and IEP expert, Alise Magrath! Alise specializes in utilizing and reallocating existing resources to meet the needs of our community, creating win-win situations for all! Don't miss this opportunity to learn about the IEP process and how to advocate for your child in a friendly and collaborative way.
