  • Savannah Run, Walk ‘n’ Roll Event

    Lake Mayer Park 1850 E Montgomery Cross Rd, Savannah, GA

    We’re excited to have our 1st Run, Walk ‘n’ Roll event in Savannah this fall! The Run, Walk ‘n’ Roll is inclusive to all ages and abilities. Its goal is to raise funds for our Home Medical Equipment Program.

    This Fall, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., supporters can join us at Lake Mayer Park or participate virtually by running, walking, rolling, or engaging in any other type of movement! Both options offer self-guided and self-paced activities.

    This event supports our home medical equipment program, which provides mobility equipment to those in need at little to no cost!

  • Hello, Friendsgiving! LIFE Screven

    Screven Community Center 219 Florie St, Screven, GA

    Join LIFE, Inc. on Friday, November 22 from 12–2 PM at the Screven Community Center (219 Florie St, Screven, GA) for a cozy Friendsgiving celebration filled with good food, fellowship, and community spirit.

    We’re bringing everyone together for a warm potluck lunch — and this year, the giving doesn’t stop at the table. Once we’ve shared our meal, LIFE staff and volunteers will package up leftover dishes into plates for neighbors who may be in need of a home-cooked meal this holiday season.

    Bring a dish to share if you can, or simply join us for great company and conversation. Every shared plate helps spread kindness across our community.

    This free, drop-in event will feature:

    Emergency preparedness education and practical safety tips
    Guest speaker and community resources
    Demonstrations on how to build an emergency preparedness kit and Go Kit
    Information tailored to a variety of access and support needs
    Opportunities to ask questions and connect with local partners
    A giveaway drawing for a completed emergency preparedness kit

    Whether you are just getting started or updating your emergency plans, this event is designed to provide simple, realistic steps to help you feel more confident and prepared.

    Come anytime during the event and participate at your own pace.
