    We’re setting aside this special evening to provide a more comfortable, sensory-friendly opportunity for families to enjoy the farm together.
    Our goal is to offer a calmer farm experience with fewer crowds and a more relaxed atmosphere, giving children the opportunity to explore and have fun at their own pace.

  • Workshop – Understanding Burnout

    This workshop is designed to provide autistic individuals, caregivers, educators, and clinicians with insights into navigating autistic burnout, emphasizing prevention and recovery in a supportive setting. We’ll explore the roots and effects of burnout, sharing practical advice for managing it. Participants will learn to spot early signs and adopt strategies that foster well-being. Recovery options will highlight the power of self-care and community resources. A Q&A session will encourage open dialogue, allowing everyone to share experiences and solutions, building a network of support.

Join the Advancing Employment team from the University of Georgia, Center on Human Development and Disability on October 27, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for “Celebrating Value and Talent.”

    This free event will feature food trucks and a vibrant community gathering to honor the contributions of people with disabilities in the workforce. Let’s celebrate inclusion and talent together!

  • Multi-Session Support Group for Partners of Autistic Individuals

    This 8-session support group offers a supportive space for allistic (non-autistic) partners of autistic individuals to connect, share experiences, and learn together. Sessions include time to share experiences, brainstorm strategies, and learn about neurodiverse relationships. Join us to gain insight, build connection, and navigate your partnership with greater confidence, understanding, and empathy. This is not a group for partners to attend together.
