    This event is for autistic adults, caregivers, service providers, and also for people wanting to learn more about the autistic community. All of the presentations are related to autistic adult topics. It's a great place to go to learn about the autism community, autism-related issues, find new resources, and connect with others. We welcome neurodivergent individuals as well as people who are on autism assessment waitlists and people who self-identify as neurodiverse. This event is for everyone!

  • Saturday Social Club

    Spectrum Autism Support Center 2997 Main St, Duluth, GA, United States

    Spectrum Saturday Social Club will provide a safe space for adults who are on the autism spectrum. Participants who are out of high school and are 18 years or older, have independent self help skills, and are able to function with little supervision. The group will meet on Saturdays from 6:30 pm-8:30 pm where they will play games, enjoy karaoke, or watch movies with friends. The club will be supervised by professional staff that will facilitate the members to help make new friends and strengthen social skills.

    This will be like a gym membership where you pay $200 for 10 week session to participate one Saturday or all Saturdays in a quarter. You must register but then can attend as often or as little as you want. Registration is now open!

    Join Lekotek at Lynwood Park's Splash Pad! This is a private event for Lekotek families—closed to the public. It is free to attend, but please register. The splash pad is reserved from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Discussions will focus on what it means to be an independent adult, sexuality, safety, mother/daughter relationships, managing anxiety and sensory issues associated with autism, work challenges and successes, being a woman on the autism spectrum, friendships and relationships.

  • Beyond keyboards: Alternative tools for controlling your computer

    Keyboards and mice are great tools, but do not work for everyone. Join us for this workshop to discover different ways to control your computer and mobile devices. You'll learn about tools ranging from voice control to switches, adaptive mice, and keyboards. We'll demonstrate several simple things that can make accessing your computer easier and explore some more complex setups too.

    If an ASL interpreter is required, please notify workshops@pacer.org at least 48 hours prior to the workshop. We will do our best to accommodate your request.

  • SPARK Social Skills Group for Teens and Young Adults

    In a world that expects social connection, FAST's new SPARK Groups aim to help tweens, older teens & young adults on the autism spectrum gain confidence, build friendships, and experience community all while preparing for real-life success. From navigating relationships to handling interviews or dating, SPARK is your place to grow!

    These meetings, led by licensed speech and language pathologists, offer a safe, supportive space to build real-world social and communication skills. Whether it’s navigating group conversations, managing emotions, or preparing for work/college environments, SPARK groups help empower individuals on the autism spectrum to connect with confidence. Topics and speaking points will vary for each meeting, ranging from everyday hang outs to preparing for adult responsibilities.

  • GCA Social Support Group – Zoom

    Come meet other like-minded individuals on the autism spectrum, as we share what has been going on in our lives with others who can understand
    us. The meeting will be held via Zoom.
