AANE is offering an 8-week virtual group for Autistic or Neurodivergent young adults aged 19-23. This group is designed to provide young adults navigating the transition between teenage years and adulthood a safe space to feel connected to and engage with each other while practicing their social skills in a facilitated setting. The group will be developed based on the interests and needs of the members.

This multi-session support group is designed for women (35-50) who are Autistic. Through this support group, women (35-50) can build an ongoing connection with a small community of other women. AANE multi-session support groups for women also give women an opportunity to voice their concerns and frustrations. It also lets them acknowledge hard-won and unexpected victories. Common topics of discussion are: Masking/camouflaging

This group is for autistic adults who are also nonbinary, trans, and/or questioning. This group is not for folks who identify with the gender they were assigned at birth (cisgender). You may enjoy this group if you feel the need or desire for community to discuss issues relating to neurodiversity and gender identity. We will both celebrate successes and support each other through difficulties. This multi-session support group meets for 8 sessions, every other week. Advanced registration is required.

This 8-session AANE support group is designed for parents and caregivers of Autistic (or similarly neurodivergent) teens (age 14+) and adults who also identify as LGBTQ+. In this small, welcoming group setting, participants will have the opportunity to share experiences, access valuable resources, and build meaningful connection with others navigating similar journeys. Each session offers a supportive space to explore the unique intersections of neurodivergence and LGBTQ+ identity, while providing guidance, insight, and a sense of community. Advanced registration is required.

Spectrum hosts monthly parent meetings the first and second Thursday of each month featuring guest speakers who share their knowledge and expertise regarding a variety of topics related to the Autism Spectrum Disorder. First Thursday of the month meetings are offered Sept-May for parents of school age children. Breakout sessions are also offered for Dads, parents of preschoolers, and in Spanish only. Social Skills programs are offered at the same time for children ages 5-22. Childcare is offered for those under 5. Second Thursday of the month meetings are for parents of adults out of high school and for adults on the spectrum. Who should attend? This free masterclass series is for families, professionals, college students, or anyone else interested in learning about autism. This masterclass series is a companion to our About Autism in Toddlers online course that is free to the public. What will we cover? This masterclass series will help you learn about the core diagnostic features and early signs of autism in toddlers and see early intervention in action. Each masterclass will cover the following agenda: What is autism and what are the early signs in toddlers? We will feature new content and videos each masterclass to cover key topics in About Autism in Toddlers. When is this scheduled? This masterclass series is scheduled once a month and continues year-round. Join anytime, attend once or come back when you can. Day: 1st Friday of each month (barring holidays) Why is attending important? By attending, you are joining a community of learners watching videos together and sharing their experiences, questions, and encouragement. We cannot record our masterclasses because we show photos and videos of our families, so make sure to attend. |
