Swift-Cantrell Splash Pad Play Date
Swift Cantrell Park 3140 Old 41 Hwy NW, Kennesaw, GA, United StatesJoin Lekotek at Swift-Cantrell Park's Splash Pad! This is a private event for Lekotek Families - closed to the public. It is free to attend, but please register! The Splash Pad is reserved from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm. Lekotek will prepare hotdogs and provide papergoods and drinks, each family should bring something to share (finger foods are preferred).

In a world that expects social connection, FAST's new SPARK Groups aim to help tweens, older teens & young adults on the autism spectrum gain confidence, build friendships, and experience community all while preparing for real-life success. From navigating relationships to handling interviews or dating, SPARK is your place to grow!
These meetings, led by licensed speech and language pathologists, offer a safe, supportive space to build real-world social and communication skills. Whether it’s navigating group conversations, managing emotions, or preparing for work/college environments, SPARK groups help empower individuals on the autism spectrum to connect with confidence. Topics and speaking points will vary for each meeting, ranging from everyday hang outs to preparing for adult responsibilities.

Bloom Playdate
Mt. Rachel Baptist Church 332 Haig Mill Lake Road, Dalton, GAAs a new school year begins, we know schedules are quickly filling with different start dates, school routines, and extracurricular activities across our local districts. We are praying for each family as you settle into this new season!
While we will be available during the first week of August, our regular weekly gatherings at Mt. Rachel Baptist Church will officially begin on August 10.
Throughout August, we will be offering:
* Two office hour sessions where parents and caregivers can meet with us individually for support, resources, or to pick up needed supplies.
* One community play date, providing a welcoming space where children can enjoy time together while parents and caregivers build meaningful friendships, encourage one another, and find community with others who understand their journey.
* Our first Parent Connect of the year, featuring a representative from SEEDS. SEEDS is a program designed to strengthen early learning classroom practices by equipping educators with evidence-based strategies that support the developmental success of all children, including those with disabilities and those who exhibit challenging behaviors.Free -

Kids Shine Fair
Fowler Park Playground 4110 Carolene Way, Cumming, GAWe believe every child deserves a moment to shine, and that includes your child. Kids of all abilities will be running their own booths at this event: a lemonade stand, a handmade craft, a hidden talent, a game they came up with themselves. Whatever makes them proud, this is their moment to show it off.
If you're wondering whether your child could really do this, the answer is yes. Our team will be there to help every step of the way, from getting set up to cheering them on. You don't have to figure it out alone, and neither does your child.
We're excited to have Best Ice Cream on Wheels and Don't Get Lost N Tha Sauce on site with food trucks for the day, along with a sensory friendly outdoor setup. The whole event is free for the community to enjoy.
