    This group is for autistic adults who are also nonbinary, trans, and/or questioning. This group is not for folks who identify with the gender they were assigned at birth (cisgender). You may enjoy this group if you feel the need or desire for community to discuss issues relating to neurodiversity and gender identity. We will both celebrate successes and support each other through difficulties. This multi-session support group meets for 8 sessions, every other week. Advanced registration is required.

    This 8-week gender inclusive support group is for LGBTQIA+ women, femmes, and nonbinary people. In this group members can build an ongoing connection with a small community.

    AANE support groups give members an opportunity to celebrate successes and support each other through difficulties. Common topics of discussion are:

    – Masking/camouflaging
    – Sensory sensitivities/overloads
    – Relationships
    – Self-care
    – Disclosure
    – Work/jobs
    – Intersectionality

    This group always meets on the first Thursday of the month and is for post-high school Autistic adults who are interested in discussing and exploring their gender in a supportive setting. Most people who attend identify as transgender, nonbinary, and/or genderfluid, and some are questioning their gender identity or gender roles. Join us to share stories and perspectives, and to get support. No autism diagnosis or certainty about gender identity is required to attend. This is a safe place to explore intersecting identities.

    This is an hour-long support group for Autistic LGBTQIA+ adults. It is a safe space to find community, share stories with, or gather support if needed from folks of similar experiences. This group hopes to provide support and comfort. The group is facilitated by a trans person on the spectrum. No autism (or related) diagnoses are required, nor is certainty about your queer identity. This is a space to explore all those things. It is also for all post-high school adults over 18 years old.

  • Social/Support Group for Trans, Non-Binary, and Gender Expansive Teens

    AANE is offering a 8-week virtual group for trans, non-binary, and gender expansive Autistic or Neurodivergent teens aged 14-19. This group is designed to provide teens with a safe space to feel connected to and engage with each other while practicing their social skills in a facilitated setting. The group will be developed based on the interests and needs of the members.

  • LGBTQ2IA+ Families: Parenting with Pride

    Everyone is welcome to join us for LGBTQ2IA+ Families: Parenting with Pride, a free, national four-episode virtual conversation series designed to support parents and caregivers as they build communication skills, strengthen emotional well-being, harness the power of lived experience, and connect with a broader movement of families leading with pride.

    The series theme is Practical Skills for Advocacy, Wellness, and Change. Across the conversations, participants will move from navigating difficult conversations to caring for themselves and their families, sharing their stories with intention, and finding power in community and collective action. By the end of the series, participants will be able to:

    Identify and engage in community-based pathways for sustained action and support
    Communicate effectively with schools, providers, and family members under pressure
    Recognize and respond to the mental health impacts of chronic stress and discrimination
    Use lived experience strategically for advocacy and leadership
