• How to do an IEP document review

Is your child's Individualized Education Program (IEP) tailored to their individual needs? Parents and guardians are invited to join us for this workshop where they will explore the process of doing a special education document review. It will include pointers on how to read the evaluation report and the IEP with an emphasis on the importance of progress reports. Understanding how these documents work together can help build confidence that a child’s IEP is meeting their needs or clarify areas of concern that can be discussed in an IEP team meeting.

If an ASL interpreter is required, please notify workshops@pacer.org at least 48 hours prior to the workshop. We will do our best to accommodate your request.

  • Exploring sensory supports beyond fidgets

In this one-hour webinar, we'll explore a variety of sensory tools that support focus, regulation, and comfort across everyday environments. Moving beyond traditional fidgets, participants will learn how sensory supports can be selected and used intentionally to enhance participation at home, school, work, and in the community.
