Family Engagement in Literacy: Practice Building Key Literacy Skills

When parents are looking for ways to support their child’s reading at home, it is useful for them to know the key early literacy skills in an easy-to-understand way. This session defines the foundational skills of literacy and provides hands-on examples to show parents how they can engage their child at home in learning the skills while also making reading fun.
