    Teen and young adult support group. This group offers a safe and supportive space for teens and young adults, social skills building activities, peer connection and friendship opportunities, guidance and encouragement for self-advocacy.

  • Anchor of Hope Golf Tournament

    River Forest in Forsyth 1 Clubhouse Drive, Forsyth, GA

    The Anchor of Hope Golf Tournament is hosted at River Forest in Forsyth on Columbus Day. The proceeds from the tournament serve families facing developmental disability by funding our respite programs, Supplemental Scholarship financial aid program, and allowing us to develop new programs to meet our community's specific needs.

    SAVE THE DATE: October 28, 2025! Come celebrate National Disability Employment Awareness Month with the Advancing Employment team at Institute on Human Development & Disability / UGA, along with some key partners, including Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities, Georgia Council on Developmental Disabilities, and others!

    This event will take place at the Tubman Museum in Macon, Georgia, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Food trucks will be available.
