  • Life on the Spectrum

    Mosaic Church 478 Columbia Industrial Blvd, Evans, GA, United States

    LIFE on the Spectrum is a social group for older teens and young adults* with any and all developmental disabilities. We are blessed to lead LIFE on the Spectrum in partnership with Easterseals East GA, and we’d welcome more partners to join this journey with us. The group meets at The Mosaic Center on the last Friday of the month for a free, themed dinner and group activities (i.e. trivia night, coffeehouse talent show, outdoor games, October costume contests, etc). There is also a monthly community outing like bowling, mini golf, river boat tours, and rock climbing. (The community outings are offered at a subsidized price.) Caregivers/parents are welcome to attend LIFE on the Spectrum events or to drop-off/pick-up — whatever works best for your family situation and your loved ones’ needs.
    *Generally, the age range for LIFE on the Spectrum is between 16 and 35, but exceptions can always be made depending on the individual.

  • Christmas Caroling

    Maxwell House Apartments 1002 Green Street #3, Augusta, GA

    Come caroling with us as we pass out our Christmas Blessing Bags at Freedom's Path and Maxwell House apartments. We will be with the TMC Pantry team (Bags & Hugs Small Group) as they deliver meal boxes at 11:45am on Thursday, December 11th.
    Residents will come to the lobby to pick-up meal boxes and gifts. We will not go beyond the lobby area, where our Pantry Ministry typically serves.
    Meet us at Mosaic at 11:15am to carpool downtown, or meet us at Maxwell House Apartments located at: 1002 Green Street #3, Augusta, GA 30901 (right across from Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church).

    Join us for our first dance of 2026 on Friday, February 27 from 6-9pm! We are changing things up this month and will have our dance at Burns Memorial Methodist Church. They have graciously and generously given us the opportunity to use their Family Life Center!

    Wear pink or red for Valentines and get ready to dance the night away! DJ Randle from Southern Knights Entertainment will join us again!

    We will serve heavy appetizers (finger foods), drinks, and dessert.

    • How parents can reinforce therapy goals at home
    We will also have a Q&A discussion with therapists so families can ask questions and learn more about available supports.
