    Living with a disability can be challenging - but you’re not alone. This welcoming space is for people with disabilities in LIFE’s 20-county service area (including Screven and Savannah) to share, listen, and connect.

    Spectrum has partnered with Emory School of Nursing in starting a Women Only Group for women ages 18 and up with HFA/Asperger's, focusing on sharing challenges and successes of transition, supporting one another, and building friendships for success. This group meets twice monthly via Zoom, first and 3rd Fridays.   • Discussion/Support Group for Adults over 50

    Are you an Autistic or Neurodivergent adult, over age 50? This group is a place for those over 50, to discuss a previously agreed to topic and share the unique concerns and issues that come with later awareness, in an atmosphere of support and understanding.

    The social hour meets from 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM ET and the support group meets from 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM ET.

  • Community Connection Session for Adults

    This community connections discussion session is for Autistic adults. Participate in this free online discussion to connect with other Neurodivergent adults. Online sessions are hosted on the Zoom platform and are facilitated by AANE’s Individual & Family Services (IFS) staff.

    AANE is offering an 6-week virtual group for Autistic and Neurodivergent teens aged 17-19. This group is designed to provide teens with a safe space to feel connected to and engage with each other while practicing their social skills in a facilitated setting. The group will be developed based on the interests and needs of the members.

  • Support Group – Employment for Adults

    This support group is for Autistic adults (18+) who are post k-12. Through this support group, members can connect with a variety of participants on the topic of employment. Whether you’re currently working, looking for a job or recuperating from burn out, this group is a chance to receive support, share what works for you and learn from each other, on all things related to employment.

  • Community Connection Session for Parents/Families

    This event is to help parents with an Autistic child. If you’re unsure how to provide structure with kids out of school, need some self-care, or if you’re feeling isolated from other adults and the community, drop into our community support sessions to connect with other parents. Sessions will be facilitated by AANE’s Individual and Family Services staff who know firsthand the need to maintain a balance for ourselves and our children when life brings the unexpected.
