    AANE is offering a 8-week virtual group for trans, non-binary, and gender expansive Autistic or Neurodivergent teens aged 14-19. This group is designed to provide teens with a safe space to feel connected to and engage with each other while practicing their social skills in a facilitated setting. The group will be developed based on the interests and needs of the members.

    Join us for camaraderie and fun! We will be playing a variety of Jackbox games that we will select as a group! Most games fit about 8 participants, but are still a blast to watch! We rotate through both games and players to have a great time together!

  • Let’s Get Away, Together!

    This series is comprised of interactive sessions with each week focusing on a new place or cultural activity, while incorporating storytelling, music, poetry writing, and/or a simple craft. Each session will include a follow-up message filled with tips, activities, and recipes for families to continue to enjoy after the virtual trip. The focus of each group is to explore a new world, experience a variety of engaging opportunities, and enjoy a sense of camaraderie and community.

    This 8-session AANE support group is designed for parents and caregivers of Autistic (or similarly neurodivergent) teens (age 14+) and adults who also identify as LGBTQIA+. In this small, welcoming group setting, participants will have the opportunity to share experiences, access valuable resources, and build meaningful connections with others navigating similar journeys. Each session offers a supportive space to explore the unique intersections of neurodivergence and LGBTQIA+ identity, while providing guidance, insight, and a sense of community.

    This bi-weekly “closed” support group is designed for autistic and similarly neurodivergent adult women (18+) who are looking to build an ongoing connection with other women.     Join us as P2P provides an overview of Georgia’s Medicaid waivers, and will explore specifically the NOW/COMP waivers. You will learn about the eligibility requirements, how to apply, the services covered, and what happens once your child/young adult’s NOW/COMP waiver is funded. You will also be provided some tips and suggestions on how Parent to Parent of Georgia can help you navigate this process.

    This multi-session support group is for parents who have an Autistic adult child 23+ years of age. Other adult family caregivers may also register for this group. Multi-session support groups are ideal for parents and other adult family caregivers who want to go beyond sharing their stories with newcomers each time at single session support group meetings.

    AANE support groups provide an opportunity for parents and family caregivers to voice their concerns and frustrations and celebrate hard-won and unexpected victories.
