This group is designed for parents and family members of Autistic transition-age youth (18-22). This group is limited to 15 participants for caregivers to connect with one another and share information.

Please join us for the ninth module in our Individualized Education Program (IEP) Series. This 30-minute session covers the reasons for revising a child’s IEP, who can request the revision, making changes to an IEP without an IEP meeting, and consideration of Extended School Year services (what they are and what determines if a child needs them).
This series is comprised of interactive sessions with each week focusing on a new place or cultural activity, while incorporating storytelling, music, poetry writing, and/or a simple craft. Each session will include a follow-up message filled with tips, activities, and recipes for families to continue to enjoy after the virtual trip. The focus of each group is to explore a new world, experience a variety of engaging opportunities, and enjoy a sense of camaraderie and community.
This bi-weekly “closed” support group is designed for autistic and similarly neurodivergent adult women (18+) who are looking to build an ongoing connection with other women. The group is primarily a space to learn about and discuss neurodivergence, and to explore related topics chosen by the group. Topics may include:

AANE is offering an 8-week virtual group for Autistic and Neurodivergent teens aged 17-19. This group is designed to provide teens with a safe space to feel connected to and engage with each other while practicing their social skills in a facilitated setting. The group will be developed based on the interests and needs of the members.
This 8-session AANE support group is designed for parents and caregivers of Autistic (or similarly neurodivergent) teens (age 14+) and adults who also identify as LGBTQ+. In this small, welcoming group setting, participants will have the opportunity to share experiences, access valuable resources, and build meaningful connection with others navigating similar journeys. Each session offers a supportive space to explore the unique intersections of neurodivergence and LGBTQ+ identity, while providing guidance, insight, and a sense of community. Join FSU CARD consultants to discuss topics of interest for women on the autism spectrum. To participate in this group, participants must be registered FSU CARD clients and at least 18 years old.
