Through our Sensory Sensitive Sundays program we’re able to offer families a quieter dining and entertainment environment, dimmed lighting and a sensory-friendly arcade experience. Our sensory-friendly events also include a trained and caring staff to ensure each guest has a safe, fun-filled visit.

    Children with multiple disabilities have few opportunities to attend summer camp; their medical, physical, or cognitive needs cannot be managed by most camps. FOCUS cares about the safety of your child, while offering fun activities that everyone will love.

  • Social/Support Group for Teens (17-19)

    AANE is offering an 8-week virtual group for Autistic and Neurodivergent teens aged 17-19. This group is designed to provide teens with a safe space to feel connected to and engage with each other while practicing their social skills in a facilitated setting. The group will be developed based on the interests and needs of the members.

    Are you an Autistic or Neurodivergent adult, over age 50? This group is a place for those over 50, to discuss a previously agreed to topic and share the unique concerns and issues that come with later awareness, in an atmosphere of support and understanding.

  • Life Planning Series: Trusts and ABLE accounts

    Join us for this workshop to learn more about Power of Attorney, health care directives, maintaining eligibility for government benefits, Special and Supplemental Needs Trusts, and ABLE accounts. It will address the unique challenges individuals with disabilities and their families face as they begin their transition into adulthood. Presented by Roger Strege, CES(c), President of Special Needs Planners, a financial planner, and Certified Estate and Trust Specialist™. Attendance at both workshops in the series is encouraged.

  • Multi-Session Support Group for Parents of Tweens (grades 4-9)

    This group is designed for parents and other adult family members of Autistic children in the tween range (grades 4-9). The multi-session support group provides a guaranteed spot over a set number of sessions, which creates an opportunity to develop deeper connections and receive extensive peer support from the same group members.
