For Parents/caregivers and their children aged 0-3 years. ESPlay is our way of connecting young families to the mission of ESP by offering enrichment opportunities for parents and their children through music programming and more!
Many students don't have access to AAC in childhood. Some receive devices in school but outgrow them or find them inadequate. Lack of training and frustration can also lead to device abandonment. Others need new AAC systems after leaving school. This webinar will cover AAC use, resources, and ideas for teenagers and adults.
This workshop will be conducted using Zoom. After registering, you will receive an invitation to join the Zoom meeting.
Courts face a wide variety of disability related issues and circumstances. Understanding when and how the court must effectively comply with the ADA can be complicated. Learn ways to develop and apply specific ADA analytical skills and reasoning to successfully respond to court when challenging disability-related situations arise in the courtroom and court programs. The session will discuss ways to approach various highly difficult disability-related scenarios that provides tools for participants to tackle challenging situations in their own courts.
This event is hosted by the South ADA Center and it will be held on via Zoom.

Spectrum has partnered with Emory School of Nursing in starting a Women Only Group for women ages 18 and up with HFA/Asperger's, focusing on sharing challenges and successes of transition, supporting one another, and building friendships for success. This group meets twice monthly via Zoom, first and 3rd Fridays. Topics and speaking points will vary for each meeting, ranging from everyday hang outs to preparing for adult responsibilities.

This support group is for Autistic adults (18+) who are post k-12. Through this support group, members can connect with a variety of participants.
AANE support groups give members an opportunity to celebrate successes and support each other through difficulties. Common topics of discussion are:

Spectrum Saturday Social Club will provide a safe space for adults who are on the autism spectrum. Participants who are out of high school and are 18 years or older, have independent self help skills, and are able to function with little supervision. The group will meet on Saturdays from 6:30 pm-8:30 pm where they will play games, enjoy karaoke, or watch movies with friends. The club will be supervised by professional staff that will facilitate the members to help make new friends and strengthen social skills.
This will be like a gym membership where you pay $200 for 10 week session to participate one Saturday or all Saturdays in a quarter. You must register but then can attend as often or as little as you want. Registration is now open!
Do you enjoy crafts such as knitting, crocheting, sewing, and embroidery? AANE has created a new online group for you! The group is available to Autistic adults regardless of skill level or diagnosis. The group will meet every second Sunday of the month on Zoom. Each meeting will have time to work on individual projects and get feedback from group members.
