Autism and special needs parent support group.
Spectrum Teen Social Club will provide a safe space for teens 12-18 who are on the autism spectrum. Participants who are in middle school and high school, have independent self help skills, and are able to function with little supervision. The group will meet on Saturdays from 4:00 pm-6:00 pm where they will play games, enjoy karaoke, or watch movies with friends. The club will be supervised by professional staff that will facilitate the members to help make new friends and strengthen social skills.
Dates are October 4th-November 8th
This will be like a gym membership where you pay $150 a quarter to participate one Saturday or all Saturdays in a quarter. You must register but then can attend as often or as little as you want.
This group meets one Sunday a month and is for parents, family members, and friends of Autistic individuals. Guest speakers are hosted every other month.
In this workshop, you’ll learn what Legal Guardianship means in Georgia and how to determine when Guardianship is appropriate. Many of the misconceptions around Guardianship will be discussed and clarified. Join Laura Akins Smith, attorney at Nadler Biernath.

AANE is offering an 8-week virtual group for Autistic and Neurodivergent teens aged 17-19. This group is designed to provide teens with a safe space to feel connected to and engage with each other while practicing their social skills in a facilitated setting. The group will be developed based on the interests and needs of the members.
AANE is offering an 8-week virtual group for Autistic or Neurodivergent young adults aged 19-23. This group is designed to provide young adults navigating the transition between teenage years and adulthood a safe space to feel connected to and engage with each other while practicing their social skills in a facilitated setting. The group will be developed based on the interests and needs of the members.
A presentation and discussion for Autistic adults to come and explore their understanding of autism through a neurological lens. We will discuss common misconceptions, the Autistic identity, and common Autistic traits, strengths, and challenges. This presentation is given by an Autistic adult and a Neurodivergent ally. You might enjoy this presentation and discussion if you are newly diagnosed, considering whether you may be autistic, or if you have only explored autism through a deficit lens in the past.

Join us for camaraderie and fun! We will be playing a variety of Jackbox games that we will select as a group! Most games fit about 8 participants, but are still a blast to watch! We rotate through both games and players to have a great time together! Advanced registration is required.
