This group meets one Sunday a month and is for parents, family members, and friends of Autistic individuals. Guest speakers are hosted every other month. Advanced registration is required.

AANE is offering an 8-week virtual group for Autistic or Neurodivergent young adults aged 19-23. This group is designed to provide young adults navigating the transition between teenage years and adulthood a safe space to feel connected to and engage with each other while practicing their social skills in a facilitated setting. The group will be developed based on the interests and needs of the members.
Join us for this 2-hour financial literacy workshop led by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) volunteers (AANE staff will also be available). The workshop will cover identifying fraud, identity theft, phishing and other scams and how to protect your personal information. Advanced registration is required.

As a follow-up to our Intro to Autism Workshop, this 90-minute workshop will go through practical ways Autistic adults can find the support that they need. We will discuss how to determine what you need, and then some practical ideas on how to meet those needs. This will include possible service providers and how to find them, as well as some hacks and strategies that might work for you.
Note that this is different from our benefits conference, which gives comprehensive information on how to get services covered by state benefits. This webinar is also open to parents, caregivers, and loved ones of Autistic adults. Advanced registration is required.
Join us for camaraderie and fun! We will be playing a variety of Jackbox games that we will select as a group! Most games fit about 8 participants, but are still a blast to watch! We rotate through both games and players to have a great time together! Advanced registration is required.

This support group is designed for Autistic women (40-60) looking to build an ongoing connection with a small community of other women. This multi-session support group also gives women an opportunity to voice their concerns and frustrations and lets them acknowledge hard-won and unexpected victories. Common topics of discussion are:

Sensory sensitivities/overloads
Relationships
Self-care
Empathy

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, approximately 1 in 31 children is diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This presentation will provide an overview of the key signs and symptoms of ASD and introduce practical, research-informed strategies to support individuals on the autism spectrum.
This is our support group for Autistic people of color (18+). These spaces are peer-led and provide an opportunity for participants to explore how their multiple identities show up and address their specific needs, by sharing experiences and offering support to one another. We are running these meetings through the winter and then will determine the next steps for future programming based on interest and feedback. Advanced registration is required.
