  • Women on the Spectrum Social Support Group

    Spectrum has partnered with Emory School of Nursing in starting a Women Only Group for women ages 18 and up with HFA/Asperger's, focusing on sharing challenges and successes of transition, supporting one another, and building friendships for success. This group meets twice monthly via Zoom, first and 3rd Fridays.   • HALO 5k

    Georgia National Fairgrounds 401 Larry Walker Parkway, Perry, GA

    This event will be held to raise funds for the HALO Group in Perry, Georgia. The HALO Group is a vocational and life skills day program that serves adults(teammates) with developmental disabilities and autism.

    The goal of the HALO Group is to help enrich each teammates overall quality of life and help each one become as independent as possible. We also strive to assist those who are able in finding equitable and viable employment within the community, while offering continued job coaching in order to sustain employment.

    This year’s event will take place at the Georgia National Fairgrounds and Agricenter in Perry. There will be a $100 prize for the top Male and Female winners and the top Male and Female Masters. Come join us for a great morning of running.

  • Saturday Social Club

    Spectrum Autism Support Center 2997 Main St, Duluth, GA, United States

    Spectrum Saturday Social Club will provide a safe space for adults who are on the autism spectrum. Participants who are out of high school and are 18 years or older, have independent self help skills, and are able to function with little supervision. The group will meet on Saturdays from 6:30 pm-8:30 pm where they will play games, enjoy karaoke, or watch movies with friends. The club will be supervised by professional staff that will facilitate the members to help make new friends and strengthen social skills.

    This will be like a gym membership where you pay $200 for 10 week session to participate one Saturday or all Saturdays in a quarter. You must register but then can attend as often or as little as you want. Registration is now open!

  • Cobb Computer Club (Ages 8-15)

    Lekotek of Georgia Kennesaw 1925 Vaughn Rd NW, Kennesaw, GA

    Kids ages 8-15 are invited to join us for computer games, pizza and fun! Cost is $10 (scholarships are available) Registration is required--space is limited.

    For adults of color (21+) exploring neurodiversity—whether through ADHD, autism, dyslexia, or other learning differences (diagnosed or self-recognized).

    Join our 8-week multi-session group to connect, share, and grow in a space that honors both your neurodivergence and cultural identity. Together, we’ll navigate the unique challenges of discovery in a world not always built for us.

  • Workshop – Introduction to Autism for Families

    This 90-minute workshop will address common misconceptions, investigate Autistic identity, and explore Autistic traits, strengths, and challenges. This presentation will provide insights into your child’s neurotype, preparing you with an informed mindset for raising an Autistic child. Parents, family members, and caregivers of individuals who are potentially Autistic are also encouraged to attend.
