    Are you a person with a disability living in one of LIFE's service counties*? Then please join us on the first and second Thursday of each month for the LIFE-Line Peer Support Chat
    Living with a disability can be challenging - but you’re not alone. This welcoming space is for people with disabilities in LIFE’s 20-county service area (including Screven and Savannah) to share, listen, and connect.

    This support group is for Autistic adults (18+) who are post k-12. Through this support group, members can connect with a variety of participants on the topic of employment. Whether you’re currently working, looking for a job or recuperating from burn out, this group is a chance to receive support, share what works for you and learn from each other, on all things related to employment.

    This group always meets on the first Thursday of the month and is for post-high school Autistic adults who are interested in discussing and exploring their gender in a supportive setting. Most people who attend identify as transgender, nonbinary, and/or genderfluid, and some are questioning their gender identity or gender roles.     Spectrum has partnered with Emory School of Nursing in starting a Women Only Group for women ages 18 and up with HFA/Asperger's, focusing on sharing challenges and successes of transition, supporting one another, and building friendships for success. This group meets twice monthly via Zoom, first and 3rd Fridays.     Georgia National Fairgrounds 401 Larry Walker Parkway, Perry, GA

    This event will be held to raise funds for the HALO Group in Perry, Georgia. The HALO Group is a vocational and life skills day program that serves adults(teammates) with developmental disabilities and autism.

    The goal of the HALO Group is to help enrich each teammates overall quality of life and help each one become as independent as possible. We also strive to assist those who are able in finding equitable and viable employment within the community, while offering continued job coaching in order to sustain employment.

    This year’s event will take place at the Georgia National Fairgrounds and Agricenter in Perry. There will be a $100 prize for the top Male and Female winners and the top Male and Female Masters. Come join us for a great morning of running.
