Building Resilience in Families of Children with Disabilities
Families of children with disabilities often face unique stressors such as school advocacy, balancing family needs, and managing caregivers' emotional or psychological responses to challenges. Building resilience is critical to the calm, peace and balance needed to navigate challenges and stay motivated to push forward. Developing resilience takes time, patience, and consistent effort. I look forward to sharing specific strategies toward achieving, and maintaining, a resilient spirit and state of mind.
